Glowing Review of Bertram in All's Well that Ends Well
August 3, 2015
The Worcester T&G gave another four-star review to Worcester Shakespeare Company's "All's Well that Ends Well, which opened this Thursday.
Zuckerman, who plays the difficult character of Bertram in the show, is revered as "just the seasoned, assured actor" for the part: "the major pleasure of the Worcester Shakespeare Company’s utterly delightful presentation of what is considered one of Shakespeare’s so-called “problem” plays is that director Mel Cobb has found a way to make Bertram someone charmingly, believably callow." Zuckerman "imbue[s] Bertram with a subtle, complicated emotional ambivalence."
